SCL Bootcamp Spring 2022: Level 2 Syllabus

Class Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET
Class Dates: Every Sunday from April 3 – June 19, 2022
(No class on April 17 and May 22, 2022) 
Course Duration: 1 hours per week for 10 weeks (10 hours total) 
Office Hours: Monday 8:00 – 9:00 PM ET | Wednesday 9:00 – 10:00 PM ET

Course description:

A continuation of Bootcamp Level 1, this course is designed to expand knowledge on everyday grammar sentence structure and provide strong foundations for self-expression in Cantonese and Chinese for heritage beginners. In order to provide a more immersive experience, the bootcamp duration has been extended to 10 weeks and now includes two designated office hour slots each week to have more Q&A and homework help time.

Office hours: 

• Monday 8:00 – 9:00 PM ET | Wednesday 9:00 – 10:00 PM ET

Classroom Rules & Etiquette: 

• Respect your fellow peers, be kind and courteous
• Respect everyone’s privacy
• Vulgar, rude and disrespectful language are not allowed
• Do not show illicit, illegal or obscene material
• No soliciting, promotions, phishing, inappropriate web content or spam
• No hate speech, blackmailing, doxxing or harassment
• Do not blast music or scream into the microphone
• Be on time for class
• Do your best and have fun 🙂
